The San Francisco 49ers' only road game of the preseason is a trip to the Los Angeles area on August 22 to play the Chargers at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood. It was reported in June that the two teams would hold a joint practice leading to the exhibition matchup. At the time, NBC Sports Bay Area stated that the two coaches — Kyle Shanahan and Brandon Staley — were working out the details. It appears the details are finalized. The two California teams will hold their joint practice on Thursday, August 19, in Costa Mesa, three days before the game. The session is one of 23 joint practices scheduled in August,

Richard Sherman repeatedly and violently threw his body into his father-in-law's door while making menacing comments toward the man ... and the alarming scene was all captured on video.

For the purpose of this very scientific experiment, we will assume everyone is healthy (even though that never happens). Let's start on offense. The defensive comparison is coming soon. ESPN's Jeremy Fowler continues to look at position groups across the NFL and rank the best players within each. His latest effort was ranking the league's top offensive tackles. Fowler's list is based on input from around the NFL. He surveyed over 50 league executives, coaches, scouts, and players to compile it. "The objective is to identify the best players right now for 2021," wrote Fowler. "This is not a five-year projection or an achievement award. Who's the best today? Pretty simple." Last year, the San Francisco 49ers acquired Trent Williams from the Washington Football Team to
