Why Steve Young believes NFL QBs are jealous of 49ers' Brock Purdy
Brock Purdy is a lucky NFL quarterback. At least, that is what San Francisco 49ers icon Steve Young believes. The Hall of Fame quarterback isn't talking about Purdy's rise from Mr. Irrelevant, the last overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. He's talking about the situation that Purdy fell into after the Niners selected him.
Purdy entered his rookie season as the third quarterback on the 49ers' depth chart. Injuries forced him into the starting lineup by Week 13, and the then-rookie helped guide San Francisco to the NFC Championship Game.
The 49ers own one of the most talented rosters in the NFL. They are genuine Super Bowl contenders, which means Purdy isn't going to be called upon to carry the offense so long as he can play efficient football.

Steve Wilks Proving to Be Right Choice for 49ers
The 49ers offseason was dominated by the questions at QB. And rightfully so, Brock Purdy's cinderella ride was cut short by a UCL injury sustained in the first quarter of the NFC Championship Game. Last years success has the fan base excited about the teams chances to hoist Lombardi #6 with this ultra talented roster.
In contrast, one of the lesser talked about storylines of this offseason was the hire of defensive coordinator Steve Wilks. With DeMecco Ryans vacating the position to become the head coach of the Houston Texans, for the second time in

The San Francisco 49ers are 2-0 to start off the 2023 season. In 2021, the 49ers won their first two games but then lost their next four. A win Thursday night, in the home opener against the New York Giants, would be the 49ers' first 3-0 start since 2019. That season, the team started out 8-0 before going on to win the NFC West and cruise through the NFC playoffs on their way to a birth in Super Bowl LIV.
I can't seem to remember how that game turned out, though. It's like it's been blocked from my memory.
It doesn't matter, because we've moved on to the current season. And to celebrate the 2-0 start, we've opened up the mailbag to answer those questions burning a hole in your mind. So let's get to it.

[WR Brandon Aiyuk] B.A with the shoulder will be limited and [CB] Ambry Thomas with the knee will be limited. Go ahead."

"Enough to be limited."
That's in the right direction, right?
"Yeah, I think
