Steve Mariucci became the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers in 1997, where he was gifted a future Hall of Fame quarterback in Steve Young. Yes, you have to look all the way back to 2018 — you know, two years and some change — to when the San Francisco 49ers quarterback inked a then-record five-year deal with up to $137.5 million. Would it be frustrating to watch a San Francisco 49ers player earn his first Pro Bowl selection in his final season with the team?
