49ers photos: Ricky Pearsall, Upton Stout training hard for 2026 season

San Francisco 49ers players are already putting in the work ahead of the team's offseason program, and newly surfaced photos highlight two young contributors focused on making an impact in 2026—wide receiver Ricky Pearsall and cornerback Upton Stout.

Pearsall is looking to bounce back after an injury-marred 2025 campaign in which he appeared in just nine games, recording 36 receptions for 528 yards without a touchdown. The former first-round pick will aim for a healthier and more productive season in 2026 as he competes in a revamped wide receiver room that includes newcomers Mike Evans and Christian Kirk.

San Francisco selected Pearsall with the No. 31 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft out of Florida, and the team continues to view him as a key piece of its offensive future.

Meanwhile, Stout quietly delivered a strong rookie season. The second-year defensive back logged 593 snaps—primarily in the slot—while appearing in all but one game. He finished with 82 tackles, four tackles for loss, two quarterback hits, one sack, five passes defensed, and a forced fumble.

The 49ers selected Stout in the third round (No. 100 overall) of the 2025 NFL Draft out of Western Kentucky, and his early production has coaches and fans excited about his potential as he looks to improve in 2026.

Both Pearsall and Stout appear locked in this offseason, as they look to make an impact with the 49ers in the year ahead.
