The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Divisional Round playoff contest against the Seattle Seahawks on Saturday at Lumen Field in Seattle, Washington.
Safety Marques Sigle appears to be trending toward a starting role this weekend for the 49ers. Ji'Ayir Brown, who suffered a hamstring injury against the Philadelphia Eagles, was limited to side work during Wednesday's practice. Linebackers Luke Gifford and Nick Martin (concussion) also worked on the side.
Wide receiver Ricky Pearsall could be in line to return after missing the last two games. Pearsall practiced and told reporters he is optimistic about playing against the Seahawks, according to Vic Tafur of The Athletic.
Ricky Pearsall said the knee feels fine and he's optimistic he will play Saturday. #49ers

Naturally, most of the attention centered on linebacker Fred Warner, who returned to practice this week as he works his way back from the ankle injury he suffered in October.

"We're taking it day by day," Warner said on Wednesday. "I think they said last week they weren't going to open my window, and then, my window's now open, so we're just taking it day by day."
Guess who broke down the #49ers huddle on Wednesday?

Warner's status for Saturday's Divisional Round matchup at Lumen Field remains uncertain. Still, his return to practice is an encouraging sign as the 49ers prepare for a crucial playoff showdown against the Seahawks.
