Quarterback play
49ers quarterback Mac Jones completed 33 of his 39 passes for 319 yards with three touchdowns and one interception, finishing with a 115.7 passer rating. His 69.3 overall grade was the fourth-highest among his offensive teammates.
Jones' 76.8 offensive grade for the season is the second-highest of his career, behind only his rookie year, when he earned an 80.0 offensive grade.
Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, however, earned much better marks. He completed 24 of his 36 passes for 280 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions, finishing with a 127.1 passer rating. His overall grade of 87.6 ranked fourth among all his teammates.
Highest marks
Tight end George Kittle earned the best grade among his 49ers teammates. His 81.5 offensive grade was his best since Week 1 (86.2). Kittle finished the game with nine catches for 84 yards and a touchdown on nine targets.
Defensive end Sam Okuayinonu earned the 49ers' best defensive grade (70.5), finishing with two tackles.
Blocking
Left tackle Trent Williams was the 49ers' highest-graded offensive lineman, earning a 70.3 offensive grade and a team-best 82.2 pass-blocking grade. He allowed just one pressure in 42 pass-blocking snaps.
Left guard Ben Bartch earned the best run-blocking grade (71.9) among his teammates, while fullback Kyle Juszczyk came in second with a 70.1 run-blocking grade. Bartch's offensive grade of 70.2 was close to matching Williams' team-best mark.
The worst-graded offensive lineman from the game was Spencer Burford, who started at left guard. Burford earned a 52.8 offensive grade over his 35 snaps.
Tight end George Kittle graded out as the 49ers' worst run blocker of the game (53.0), while running back Christian McCaffrey earned the game's lowest pass-blocking grade (24.1).
In total, the 49ers' offensive line surrendered 10 pressures.

The lowest-graded pass catcher was Kyle Juszczyk, who earned a 52.6 receiving grade.
For the second consecutive week, Pro Football Focus did not credit a 49ers pass catcher with a drop.
Rushing
For the second straight week, running back Brian Robinson earned the team's best rushing grade (67.9), followed by Mac Jones (58.2) and Christian McCaffrey (55.5). Robinson led the 49ers with 41 rushing yards and a touchdown on eight carries (5.1 yards per attempt). McCaffrey earned just 30 rushing yards on 12 carries (2.5 yards per attempt).
Rams running back Kyren Williams earned the game's best rushing grade (77.8). He finished with 73 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries.
Pass rush
Surprisingly, rookie cornerback Upton Stout earned the game's best pass-rush grade (84.6), albeit on just seven pass-rush snaps. Sam Okuayinonu came in second with a 70.9 pass-rush grade.
Defensive tackle Kevin Givens earned the game's lowest pass-rush grade (51.8).
