49ers’ Draft Day Party set for April 25th

The San Francisco 49ers have announced that their Draft Day Party will take place on Saturday, April 25th at the Santa Clara Convention Center. The free event will kick off at 12pm and end at 4pm.

The 49ers will also unveil their new 2009 uniforms during the event. It will be the fans' first chance to see the team's new look.

Kyle Shanahan provides day-after updates following 49ers' Week 1 win vs. Lions

San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan jumped on a conference call today, the day after the team's 41-33 Week 1 victory over the Detroit Lions. Here is everything he had to say. If there was one significant turning point in the San Francisco 49ers' 17-11 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, it was most likely the unexpected goal line stand members of the defense produced after a 91-yard pass put their backs against the wall in the second quarter.
