San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Ricky Pearsall exited Sunday's win over the Arizona Cardinals with some knee soreness. As a precaution, the team held him out of Wednesday's practice to avoid any potential setbacks.
While the update initially raised concerns among fans—given the long list of 49ers injuries this season—Pearsall insists there's no reason to worry.
"It's feeling good," Pearsall told reporters ahead of Wednesday's practice. "I actually don't even know when I hurt my knee, to be completely honest. I felt a little bit of soreness after the game, and it wasn't until later on in the night, I was kind of moving around and felt a little soreness; nothing that I was really concerned about.
"I came in the next day, and was talking to the trainers, and I told them the same thing I'm telling you right now—I'm not really concerned, but I just want to check it out a little bit. And that's kind of what I'm doing with this. It's just a little bit of soreness, and I'm not worried about it. If there was a game today, I'd play."

Pearsall has quickly become the 49ers' most reliable receiving target, leading the team with 16 catches for 281 yards through three games. His yardage total ranks third in the NFL, trailing only Puka Nacua and Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
With Jauan Jennings (ankle, shoulder) uncertain for Week 4, Pearsall's reassurance is welcome news for San Francisco's offense, which continues to lean on the second-year wideout as a trusted target for quarterbacks Brock Purdy and Mac Jones.
