Jennings injured his shoulder in Week 1 against the Seattle Seahawks. While initial tests revealed no major damage, the wideout missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday before returning as a limited participant on Friday.
The 49ers listed Jennings as "questionable" for Week 2, alongside starting left tackle Trent Williams. Quarterback Brock Purdy was ruled out due to shoulder and toe injuries.
In the season opener, Jennings hauled in two receptions for 16 yards before exiting the game late in the fourth quarter due to the injury.
