San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan spoke to reporters following Friday's practice, providing final updates ahead of the team's Week 1 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. Here's everything he said.

Opening comments:
"All right. Injuries for the game: [RB] Jordan James will be doubtful, [WR] Jordan Watkins, doubtful, [RB] Christian McCaffrey, questionable."
Was Christian limited in practice today or no practice?
"I don't think I have to say today."
You usually have to put that on the report, right?
"Yeah. You're right. Did not practice. I was looking at the wrong box."
Was he able to do any team drills yesterday? What happened during practice yesterday with him?
"Yeah, he did a limited amount of stuff in practice yesterday."
What's your level of concern with his physical condition and his ability to play on Sunday?
"It's questionable, questionable concern. I'm not going to say anything about Christian guys, or any of our players' injuries."
Is it fair to say, because he wasn't on the injury report Wednesday, that this is something that occurred yesterday?
"Yeah, it came up yesterday."
Does RB Brian Robinson Jr. have a full connection to your offense or is he still limited in what he knows?
"I mean, he is trying to learn it all. He is working his tail off doing it, studying, but he has been through three practices. So, it's definitely not there yet. It'll get better throughout the year. But, he's had a real good week."
With Christian's questionability and then Robinson being so late of an addition, how does that affect the game plan and what you're trying to do offensively, not knowing who's going to be back there or if Robinson is back there, if he's ready to be back there?
"Brian knows the game plan. You got it in this week. You don't have to know an entire offense. You've got to know what the plan is this week, and he's repped all of it. So, if that's the situation, we're good to go with it. He's ready for it and I know [RB] Isaac [Guerendo] will be also."
How has Isaac Guerendo, he obviously missed some time in training camp but how has his grasp of the system and the protections improved over the past year?
"I think he's improved a lot. I think he started out pretty good at it. Isaac's a real smart kid, does everything well, battled a number of injuries last year and battled one in training camp too. But, I think he's gotten better and better since he's been here. Everyone would always be further along if they didn't have setbacks. I think it was tough for him missing a lot of training camp. But, Isaac's doing good right now and continuing to get back at it."
You said Wednesday in relation to Christian's offseason that there was concern, I think you said arthritis, I don't know if you meant tendonitis, would still be there and that it wasn't an issue. Is that part of what's going on?
"I didn't know arthritis and tendonitis were different, but that's just my lack of education on being a doctor. But no, he's just questionable. We'll deal with his calf."
I have a medical degree.
"I can tell. Yeah, that's why you intimidate me with your questions (laughter)."
Did DL Yetur Gross-Matos make it through the week?
"Yeah, he's good to go."
How about WR Jauan Jennings' conditioning throughout the week? Are you confident with him going into Sunday?
"Yeah, real confident. I think Jauan's had a real good week. Got a number of good workouts over the weekend and stuff which adds to the conditioning. We had our fourth practice today. So, I think he's gotten better and better throughout the week and excited to see him out there on Sunday."
Will Christian do anything tomorrow? Workout the calf or anything to see how he's feeling?
"I'm not sure. I haven't asked that."
With the James injury, is it possible RB Sincere McCormick could be called off the practice squad?
"Yeah, if we needed him, definitely."
