San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy—along with several projected Week 1 starters—saw limited action on Saturday afternoon against the Las Vegas Raiders at Allegiant Stadium. Purdy played just one series, leading a 12-play, 61-yard opening drive that ended with a field goal.
The 49ers' $265 million franchise quarterback looked sharp in his brief appearance, completing 5 of 7 passes for 66 yards and a passer rating of 100.9, while also adding a short run for one yard. It was a solid warmup before the regular season, with little else needed from the team's offensive leader.
One bright spot was Purdy's connection with rookie wide receiver Ricky Pearsall, who caught three passes for 42 yards, continuing the chemistry the two developed during training camp.
