The San Francisco 49ers are among 24 NFL teams reporting for mandatory minicamp today. The two-day minicamp runs through Wednesday and will conclude with a team event for players, coaches, staff, and their families.
The 49ers will hold two practices—one each day—both scheduled to begin at 10:40 a.m. and open to media observation.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan and select players will speak with reporters following Tuesday's session, while defensive coordinator Robert Saleh and other players are expected to speak after Wednesday's practice.
While San Francisco has seen strong participation throughout its offseason program, all prior activities were voluntary. Attendance at this mandatory minicamp is required, and players who skip it are subject to fines.
This week marks the conclusion of the 49ers' offseason program. The team will then break until training camp begins in late July. Unlike previous offseasons, the 49ers head into the break relatively drama-free, having already secured key players—quarterback Brock Purdy, tight end George Kittle, and linebacker Fred Warner—to contract extensions.
