According to the San Francisco 49ers, the team will have a new uniform design for the 2009 season. The new uniforms will be revealed during the team's draft day event on April 25th.
The 49ers offered very little information beyond that. While many fans are likely hoping for a return to the uniforms of the 80's and early 90's, the team could very well unveil a new design altogether. During Mike Nolan's stint with the team, the idea of "tweaking" the classic uniforms came up.
The 49ers held focus groups last year to get the opinions of fans and players regarding their uniforms.
