Linebacker Fred Warner is the only San Francisco 49ers player selected for the prestigious Associated Press 2024 All-Pro Team, one of the NFL's most coveted honors. Warner earned a first-team All-Pro selection, while tight end George Kittle and fullback Kyle Juszczyk received second-team recognition as alternates.
Warner amassed 131 tackles, including five for a loss, two interceptions, a touchdown, a sack, seven passes defensed, and four forced fumbles. He played in all 17 games despite suffering an ankle fracture in Week 4 against the New England Patriots. The linebacker played through the injury for the remainder of the season.
The 49ers endured an injury-plagued and mistake-riddled season, finishing with a 6-11 record, placing last in the NFC West, and missing the playoffs for the first time since 2020.
Drafted by San Francisco in the third round out of BYU in 2018, Warner continues to cement his legacy as one of the league's elite linebackers. This latest honor marks his fourth first-team All-Pro selection. Warner has recorded at least 118 tackles in each of his seven NFL seasons.
Kittle concluded the 2024 season with a team-leading 1,106 receiving yards and eight touchdowns, marking his fourth career 1,000-yard season and his second in a row. Meanwhile, Juszczyk earned his second consecutive All-Pro recognition, following his selection as a 2023 AP first-team All-Pro.
