Quick Takeaways

Right guard Dominick Puni earned the highest grade of the game with an 83.4 overall mark. His 70.2 pass-blocking grade was impacted by two pressures allowed, but his 85.9 run-blocking grade was the second-highest of the game, only trailing wide receiver Ricky Pearsall's 86.8 in that category.

Christian McCaffrey secured the top pass-blocking grade, earning an impressive 82.3. Returning from injury, McCaffrey earned a 70.2 offensive grade—his best since Week 14 last season, including the postseason. He logged 13 carries for 39 yards and added six catches for 68 yards.

Every 49ers offensive lineman allowed at least one pressure, with Trent Williams and Jake Brendel conceding the most at three pressures each. Despite being the highest-graded lineman, Puni still allowed two pressures, while Brendel's 48.3 offensive grade and 17.6 pass-blocking grade were the lowest among the linemen.

Williams' 80.6 offensive grade was his best since Week 5, where he earned an 83.8 mark. His 79.3 run-blocking grade also marked a four-game high.

Pressures allowed among O-line:

Tight end George Kittle led all pass catchers with an 82.9 offensive grade, finishing the game with three receptions for 57 yards and a touchdown. His 87.7 receiving grade was his second-highest of the season, trailing only his Week 8 performance with a 91.3 grade.

Pearsall continued his steady improvement, moving from a 58.0 grade in his Week 7 debut to a 69.4 grade against the Buccaneers. Pearsall had four catches for 73 yards, including his first career touchdown.

Quarterback Brock Purdy completed 25 of 36 passes for 353 yards, two touchdowns, and posted a 119.3 passer rating. Despite the strong numbers, Purdy's early struggles contributed to a 64.5 offensive grade, his third-lowest of the season.

Fullback Kyle Juszczyk received his lowest grade of the season at 44.8, marking the third time in five games he's graded below 54.9. His season average of 59.1 is his second-lowest in 11 years, with last year's 56.0 grade being his lowest.

Cornerback Renardo Green left the game in the second half due to a toe injury, but not before earning a game-high 82.6 defensive grade, following his career-high 91.3 defensive grade in Week 8 against Dallas. Green allowed four catches for 27 yards on five targets, breaking up two passes and allowing a passer rating of 89.2 when targeted. His coverage grade of 83.9 was also the highest in the game. Green owns an 84.2 defensive grade and 84.0 coverage grade this season. Both rank second among all NFL cornerbacks.

Defensive tackle Kalia Davis led the team in run defense with a 76.4 grade, while rookie safety Malik Mustapha recorded a team-high 85.8 tackling grade. The 49ers' top pass-rush grade went to linebacker Fred Warner at 67.5.

Defensive linemen Maliek Collins and Leonard Floyd led the team with four pressures each. Defensive end Nick Bosa logged three pressures, his lowest since Week 5, though he did sack Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield. Bosa's 65.4 defensive grade was his lowest of the season.
