The San Francisco 49ers are hosting the New England Patriots at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The Niners enter the game on a two-game losing streak, with star running back Christian McCaffrey still sidelined due to Achilles tendinitis.

Additionally, defensive tackle Javon Hargrave and linebacker Curtis Robinson were placed on injured reserve on Saturday, ending their seasons. Hargrave suffered a partially torn triceps in Week 3, while Robinson tore his ACL during practice last week.

Below are the latest in-game injury updates for the 49ers.

LB Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles (undisclosed)

Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles suffered an injury in the second half and was replaced by rookie Tatum Bethune.

WR Jacob Cowing (shoulder, questionable)

The 49ers have announced that Jacob Cowing is dealing with a shoulder injury and is questionable to return.

TE George Kittle (ribs, questionable)

The 49ers announced that George Kittle is questionable to return as he deals with a rib injury. The tight end recorded three receptions for 38 yards and a touchdown in the first half.

Update: Kittle returned to the game in the second half.

LB Fred Warner (ankle, questionable)

Fred Warner suffered an ankle injury and is questionable to return. The linebacker headed to the locker room early, just before the Patriots' final offensive drive of the first half. Warner had four tackles, an interception, a touchdown, and a pass defensed before exiting.

DT Jordan Elliott (knee, out)

Jordan Elliott sustained a knee injury in the first half and is questionable to return, according to the 49ers. Elliott, who was already questionable for the game after suffering a foot injury during practice this week, was active for the Week 4 contest.

The 49ers later announced that Elliott has been ruled out for the remainder of the game.
