Key stats from the 49ers' 32-19 Week 1 win vs. the Jets

The San Francisco 49ers kicked off the 2024 season with a 32-19 Week 1 win over the New York Jets at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

San Francisco has started the season 1-0 for the ninth time in the last 13 seasons and in consecutive seasons for the first time since the 2015-16 seasons.
The 49ers improved to 53-31 when playing on Monday Night Football and tied the Pittsburgh Steelers for the most wins all-time on MNF.
The Niners improved to 12-3 all-time against the New York Jets, including a 5-2 record at home.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan improved to 2-0 vs. the Jets and improved to 4-2, including two consecutive wins, against the AFC East as head coach of the 49ers.
San Francisco earned a Week 1 win at home for the first time since the 2016 season when they defeated the Los Angeles Rams, 28-0 (9/12/16).

After their first possession of the game, the 49ers scored a TD or FG on 8-consecutive possessions, marking the longest scoring streak for the team since at least 1978, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.

RB Jordan Mason registered 28 carries for a career-high 147 yds. and 1 TD. His rushing TD marked his first of the season and the 5th of his career.
Tonight's game marked Mason's first career start. With 147 rushing yds., Mason produced the 3rd-most rushing yds. by a 49ers player in their first career start.

Mason's 28 carries also marked a career high and the most by a 49ers RB since former RB Frank Gore tallied 31 carries vs. Cle. (10/30/11).

WR Deebo Samuel Sr. caught 5 passes for 54 yds. through the air to go along with 8 carries for 23 yds. and 1 TD on the ground.
Samuel Sr.'s rushing TD marked his first of the season and the 20th of his career, which is the most by a player whose primary position is WR since at least 1960.

DL Leonard Floyd registered 2 tackles and 1.0 sack of Jets QB Aaron Rodgers on the evening, marking his first sack as a member of the 49ers and giving him 59.0 in his career.
Floyd's sack of Rodgers marked his 11th against the QB in his career. His 11.0 sacks of Rodgers are the most of any active player against an active QB in the NFL, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.
