"Sydney's surgery went well. He's a healthy boy!" the couple told PEOPLE. "We're over the moon and can't wait to get home from the hospital and start our new life."
Fred and Sydney were married in June 2022 in Vista, California. It was recently reported that the 49ers linebacker restructured his contract, converting a significant portion of his base salary into bonuses. This helped the team create salary cap space ahead of the start of the new league year on Wednesday.
