Former Raiders executive Amy Trask made headlines this past week when she declared San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy the least talented among the eight remaining signal-callers in the playoffs.
"Four games, eight quarterbacks," Trask recently stated on the "What the Football" podcast. "Seven terrific quarterbacks and Brock Purdy."
During an interview on Bay Area radio station 95.7 The Game, Trask tried to explain her thinking, saying, "When I look at the eight quarterbacks ... I don't put Brock at the top of that eight. I probably do put him at the bottom of the eight."
This placed Purdy behind Baker Mayfield of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Jordan Love of the Green Bay Packers. Both suffered playoff losses this weekend, with the latter losing to Purdy and the 49ers on Saturday night.
After the game, Trask took to social media to congratulate the 24-year-old second-year quarterback on the thrilling 24-21 playoff victory, even offering Purdy a tasty treat should the 49ers reach Super Bowl 58 in Las Vegas (h/t Jordan Elliott of NBC Sports Bay Area).

Purdy helped orchestrate a 12-play, 69-yard game-winning drive in the closing minutes of the Divisional Playoff contest against the Packers, earning the 49ers an appearance in their third consecutive NFC Championship Game. Purdy completed six of his seven passes on the drive, which culminated with a six-yard touchdown run by Christian McCaffrey.
It was a thrilling comeback drive that featured a clutch third-down completion to wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk and a nine-yard run by Purdy to set up McCaffrey's scoring play.
San Francisco will host the Detroit Lions in next Sunday's NFC title game at Levi's Stadium.
