The stage is set for the NFC Championship Game. The San Francisco 49ers now know their upcoming opponent. The team will host the Detroit Lions, with the winner securing a trip to Super Bowl 58 in Las Vegas.

After defeating the fourth-seeded Tampa Bay Buccaneers 31-23 at Ford Field, the third-seeded Lions will gear up to face the top-seeded 49ers at Levi's Stadium next Sunday.

Fresh off a thrilling 24-21 playoff victory over the Green Bay Packers, the 49ers are set to make their third consecutive appearance in the NFC Championship Game and their fourth in the last five years.

With a regular season record of 12-5, San Francisco secured home-field advantage in the playoffs. Notably, the team's win on Saturday marked its fifth consecutive playoff victory over the Packers.

Kickoff between the 49ers and Lions will be at 3:30 p.m. PT on Sunday, January 28.
