Some positive developments emerged from Santa Clara on Friday as the San Francisco 49ers conducted their second practice of the week in preparation for Monday night's highly anticipated matchup with the Baltimore Ravens. Defensive tackle Javon Hargrave returned to practice after dealing with a hamstring injury that kept him sidelined in this past weekend's game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Additionally, running back Elijah Mitchell, who had been inactive for the last two games due to a knee injury, was back on the practice field.
Still missing is Hargrave's partner along the interior of that 49ers defensive front, Arik Armstead. The longtime Niner has been working towards a comeback from foot and knee injuries that forced him to miss the team's last two games.
Javon Hargrave and Elijah Mitchell appear to be practicing today. Still no sign of Arik Armstead, the 49ers' best run defender along the d-line.
The 49ers will release their practice participation report later this afternoon. They have one more practice session scheduled for Saturday afternoon in the lead-up to Monday night's game.

Would the San Francisco 49ers really trade wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk after already sending Deebo Samuel to the Washington Commanders? After all, the team signed Aiyuk to a massive contract extension just last year, and the ACL and MCL injuries he suffered in October have only...

It's been a week that fans of the San Francisco 49ers won't soon forget. After watching the team cut some popular players and fail to sign many of its own free agents while seemingly not doing much to improve the team, the fanbase has been a little traumatized over the past six...
Despite the noise, Lynch and Shanahan's 2nd Act may invigorate the 49ers

Let's start with a mea culpa. I got it wrong: It was, in fact, The Last Dance for that 49ers team.
You can blame many things for that completely errant prediction, but if pushed, I'd put it down to sheer belief and optimism that such a good 49ers team, that gave us all such...
