According to head coach Kyle Shanahan, San Francisco 49ers defensive tackles Javon Hargrave and Arik Armstead will not practice on Thursday, the team's first practice of the week, as it prepares for Monday night's game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Joining them on the sidelines for practice will be linebacker Oren Burks (knee), tight end Ross Dwelley (ankle), and running back Elijah Mitchell (knee). Wide receiver Jauan Jennings remains in the concussion protocol.
Hargrave and Armstead were unavailable in this past weekend's game against the Arizona Cardinals. Hargrave is dealing with a hamstring injury, while Armstead has been battling through foot and knee issues.
Shanahan told reporters that he doesn't have any additional information regarding the availability of the two defensive tackles for Monday night's game.
Additionally, the 49ers placed defensive tackle Kalia Davis on injured reserve after he suffered a high-ankle sprain in the game against the Cardinals. This move further reduced the depth along the defensive front for the 49ers.
