The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 7 contest against the Minnesota Vikings on Monday at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Christian McCaffrey is attempting to return from the oblique injury that forced his exit against the Cleveland Browns. During Friday's practice, reporters observed the running back working with a trainer on a side field.
Noticeably absent for the second consecutive day were wide receiver Deebo Samuel and tackle Trent Williams. Samuel sustained a shoulder injury against the Browns, whereas Williams played through an ankle injury.
On a positive note, linebacker Dre Greenlaw and guard Aaron Banks returned to practice after missing Thursday's session. Greenlaw is recovering from a hamstring injury while Banks, like Williams, is working through an ankle injury.
Below are Friday's practice participation reports for both the 49ers and Vikings, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff.
