San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle anticipated a fine for displaying a not-safe-for-work t-shirt under his jersey on Sunday night against the Dallas Cowboys. The shirt read "F--k Dallas," paying homage to former 49ers linebacker Gary Plummer's iconic gesture decades ago.
According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, the NFL fined the tight end $13,699 for "use of abusive language for his profane Dallas T-shirt displayed after a touchdown last week."

This week, knowing that a fine was likely imminent, the tight end was asked if he would repeat his actions.
"One hundred percent," Kittle told ESPN. "I'd do it again."
The star player understands that his actions likely warranted a fine but is comfortable with the decision to show off the custom-made shirt during the game.
"I wore a personalized T-shirt, maybe an inappropriate word," Kittle said. "So, it is what it is. It was a decision I made. If they want to fine me, they fine me."
On Wednesday, head coach Kyle Shanahan was asked to share his initial thoughts as he saw Kittle flash the shirt toward fans at Levi's Stadium.
"Not much," Shanahan told reporters. "Just Kittle, WWE stuff, entertainment. Not really much, just smiled at it."
San Francisco went on to win the game 42-10. Kittle finished with three trips into the end zone.
