The San Francisco 49ers have released the list of inactive players for their Week 5 matchup at home against the Dallas Cowboys. These players will not suit up for the game.
On Friday, the 49ers ruled out Mitchell against the Cowboys. The team listed one player, center Jon Feliciano, as questionable. The offensive lineman worked his way through the concussion protocol this week and is active.
The 49ers acquired Gregory on Friday, shipping a sixth-round draft pick in 2024 to the Denver Broncos in exchange for the veteran pass rusher and a seventh-round pick. Gregory met with 49ers coaches on Friday, undergoing his physical before heading back to Denver to gather his belongings. He will rejoin his new team on Monday. On Friday, head coach Kyle Shanahan confirmed that Gregory would not be available against the Cowboys.
After being inactive for Week 4, cornerback Anthony Brown is eligible to play against his former team. Wide receiver Jauan Jennings, inactive last week due to a shin injury, is also active.
On Saturday, the 49ers elevated defensive lineman Austin Bryant and cornerback Kendall Sheffield from the practice squad. Both are active.
