Last season, the then-rookie led the 49ers to victory in each of their final five regular-season games, recording at least two touchdown passes and a passer rating of 95 or higher in each contest.
With two touchdown passes and the victory over the Steelers, Purdy became the first quarterback in NFL history to win each of his first six career regular-season starts and throw at least two touchdown passes in each start.
