The San Francisco 49ers have signed defensive linemen Austin Bryant and Kerry Hyder Jr. to one-year deals. To make room on the roster, the team placed defensive lineman Robert Beal Jr. and wide receiver Danny Gray on the injured reserve list.

The 49ers had to wait until after the roster cut-down deadline to place Beal Jr. and Gray on injured reserve, or both would have been lost for the season.
