Jauan Jennings signs one-year tender with 49ers

In February, the San Francisco 49ers tendered a one-year contract to exclusive rights free agent wide receiver Jauan Jennings. According to Matt Barrows of The Athletic, the 25-year-old player signed his one-year tender today as the team reports to Santa Clara for the start of its offseason program.


Jennings will play the 2023 season on a $940,000 salary and will become a restricted free agent next year.

San Francisco made Jennings (6-3, 212) a seventh-round selection (No. 217 overall) out of Tennessee in 2020. He registered 35 receptions for 416 yards and a touchdown through 16 game appearances (four starts) with the 49ers last season, per Pro Football Reference.

Jennings has caught 59 passes for 698 yards and six touchdowns in 32 game appearances (five starts) through his two NFL seasons.
