It's no secret that San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle is a die-hard wrestling fan. You might remember him being eager to leave a required post-game press conference in 2018 to get to the SAP Center for a WWE event.

While Kittle is nowhere close to ending his NFL career, he can at least envision what his post-football days might look like. According to TMZ Sports, Kittle wouldn't mind transitioning to the WWE.

"The 49ers star didn't mince many words when the topic was brought up out in Arizona earlier this month," wrote TMZ. "... saying he believes he's got the personality to smoothly jump from the NFL to the wrestling world if and when the time comes."

"Sounds fun!" Kittle told TMZ when asked about the possibility.

Kittle's love for wrestling was also on display during the Pro Bowl when he and teammate Kyle Juszczyk, the 49ers' fullback, showed off some moves.

San Francisco made Kittle (6-4, 250) a fifth-round selection (No. 146 overall) out of Iowa in 2017. Per Pro Football Reference, he registered 60 receptions for 765 yards and 11 touchdowns through 15 starts with the 49ers last season.

Kittle, 29, has caught 395 passes for 5,254 yards and 31 touchdowns in 82 game appearances (74 starts) through his six NFL seasons. He was named a first-team All-Pro in 2019 and is a four-time Pro Bowl selection.
