49ers sign 10 to reserve/future contracts

The San Francisco 49ers announced that they have signed the following 10 free agents to reserve/future contracts:
- DL Alex Barrett
- OL Alfredo Gutierrez
- S Tayler Hawkins
- OL Keith Ismael
- DB Qwuantrezz Knight
- WR Tay Martin
- WR Dazz Newsome
- OL Jason Poe
- LB Curtis Robinson
- OL Leroy Watson
Reserve/future contracts are used to claim the rights to players. They take effect at the start of the new league year on March 15, and that's when the players begin counting against the salary cap.
