According to Justin Melo of The Draft Network, the San Francisco 49ers were among several teams that met with Washington safety Alex Cook at the Hula Bowl. The teams included the Las Vegas Raiders, Miami Dolphins, Tennessee Titans, and several others.
Washington Senior Captain, S Alex Cook was popular at the @Hula_Bowl. The #Huskies safety measured in over 6-ft tall, 195 pounds with 9.5-inch hands.
Cook, listed at 6-foot-1 and 195 pounds, started all 13 games for the Huskies in 2022. He finished his senior season with 82 tackles, 3.5 tackles for a loss, and a pass defensed. Cook racked up 128 tackles, 4.5 tackles for a loss, and two passes defensed in his final two collegiate seasons.
Cook, a California native, played football at Sheldon High School in Elk Grove, a Sacramento suburb.
