49ers-Cardinals: How to watch, stream, and listen to the Week 18 matchup

The San Francisco 49ers wrap up the 2022 regular season with an NFC West matchup as they host the Arizona Cardinals at Levi's Stadium. The Niners look to win their 10th-consecutive game and sweep the season series against the Cardinals for the first time since 2019. The 49ers lead the all-time series against the Cardinals, 33-29.

The Niners earned their ninth win in a row on New Year's Day when they beat the Las Vegas Raiders in overtime, 37-34. QB Brock Purdy completed 22 of his 35 passing attempts for 284 yards and two touchdowns, one to WR Brandon Aiyuk and one to TE George Kittle. Aiyuk led the team in receiving, catching nine passes for a season-high 101 yards. RB Christian McCaffrey registered 121 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries, pushing him over 1,000 rushing yards on the season for the third time in his career. Rookie RB Jordan Mason also found the end zone on a 14-yard rush, giving him his first-career touchdown.

On defense, the 49ers intercepted Raiders QB Jarrett Stidham twice. DL Drake Jackson grabbed his first-career interception after DL Kerry Hyder Jr. deflected a Stidham pass, and S Tashaun Gipson Sr. grabbed his third interception of the season during the overtime period. LB Fred Warner tallied a team-high 12 tackles on the day.

K Robbie Gould hit all four of his extra point attempts and three of his four field goal attempts, including the game-winning 23-yard attempt in overtime.

49ers restructure Fred Warner's contract, create $9.5 million in salary cap space

The San Francisco 49ers made another move to add salary-cap space. On the same day the team restructured cornerback Charvarius Ward's deal, it restructured linebacker Fred Warner's. ESPN's Field Yates was the first to report the news. The move creates $9.5 million in salary cap space for the Bay Area team.
