The San Francisco 49ers wrapped up their three practices at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, about an hour's drive south of Denver. The team has been there all week to get acclimated to the altitude. On Sunday, the 49ers will travel to Mexico City for Monday night's game against the Arizona Cardinals at Estadio Azteca.

Charvarius Ward returned to practice on Saturday. The 49ers excused the cornerback on Thursday and Friday for a personal matter. He is expected to start on Monday night.

Defensive lineman Arik Armstead will miss his sixth consecutive game due to foot and ankle injuries. He has not practiced this week and was not on the field with his teammates on Saturday. The 49ers ruled out Armstead for the upcoming game.

Another defensive lineman, Samson Ebukam, returned to practice on Friday and was on the field again on Saturday. He was limited on both days. Ebukam was inactive last weekend against the Los Angeles Chargers due to a quadriceps injury. The 49ers listed him as "questionable" for Monday night.

Below are the official injury reports for the 49ers and Cardinals, provided by the 49ers Communications staff. Also included are Saturday's practice participation reports.

The news of Arik Armstead's departure from the San Francisco 49ers after nine seasons with the team shocked linebacker Fred Warner. Armstead, a former first-round pick, was an impactful force on the football field. However, his availability over the last two seasons forced the 49ers to reevaluate his contract, and when his salary could not be significantly reduced, the two sides parted ways. "Huge surprise," Warner said of learning that Armstead was being released. "Ever since I've been here, we called him the blueprint for how to be a Niner. That was the longest-tenured Niner that's been here and a guy that's done it right through and through." Warner has been in the NFL long enough to understand how the league works. Over the years, he's watched several
