San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel was seen training in San Jose, California earlier last week, as trainer Delfonte Diamond posted videos of the star receiver to Instagram as the South Carolina product continues to put in work ahead of Tuesday's training camp report day for the 49ers.
Samuel, whose camp has been engaged in contract talks with the 49ers throughout the offseason, has been seen in numerous training videos as he prepares to build off his stellar 2021 campaign in which he caught 77 passes for 1405 yards, and rushed for 365 yards on 59 carries en route to his first All-Pro selection.

Earlier Monday, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported that Samuel's agent Tory Dandy and the 49ers are still talking about a long-term contract extension ahead of training camp, although the 26-year-old receiver could choose to "hold-in" should a deal not be finalized before training camp begins on Tuesday, similar to what he did during mandatory minicamp.
This report comes after Pelissero shared last Wednesday that there isn't an imminent between Samuel and the 49ers, despite the constant communication.
"I can tell you the sides have been in communication," Pelissero reported on NFL Network. "They have had contract talks on a long-term deal that would keep Deebo in San Francisco. But at this point, there is absolutely nothing that is imminent."
However, later last week, Deebo Samuel's trainer shared a video to Instagram, hinting that the star receiver was about to get paid.

As of now, Deebo Samuel is in the Bay Area and is unlikely to hold out of training camp as the two sides continue to negotiate an extension, according to Pelissero.
