According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, the New York Jets are signing former San Francisco 49ers safety and linebacker Marcell Harris, an unrestricted free agent.

San Francisco made Harris (6-0, 215) a sixth-round selection out of Florida in 2018. The converted safety registered 44 tackles, two tackles for a loss, a quarterback hit, a sack, a pass defensed, and an interception through 15 game appearances with the 49ers last season.
Harris, 27, has recorded 155 tackles, six tackles for a loss, two quarterback hits, a sack, nine passes defensed, an interception, and five forced fumbles in 52 game appearances (20 starts) through his four NFL seasons.
