The San Francisco 49ers hosted Nebraska wide receiver Samori Toure on a pre-draft visit on April 4. According to Tony Pauline of Pro Football Network, that hasn't been the only evidence of the Bay Area team's interest in the young wideout.

Pauline reports that Toure has visited with several NFL teams as organizations continue to do their homework ahead of next week's draft.

"Another team showing a lot of interest in Toure is the San Francisco 49ers," wrote Pauline. "The team ran Toure's pro day drills, met with him extensively, and are very impressed with the Cornhusker receiver."

Toure started his collegiate career at Montana before transferring to Nebraska for the 2021 season. There, he recorded a team-leading 46 catches, 898 receiving yards, and five receiving touchdowns through 12 games and nine starts as a senior.

The 6-foot-3 and 191-pound Toure was not invited to the NFL Scouting Combine. However, he participated in his school's Pro Day, recording a 40-time of 4.44 seconds, a vertical jump of 34.50 inches, a broad jump of 124 inches, and seven reps in the bench press. He also completed the three-cone drill in 6.77 seconds and had a 20-yard shuttle time of 4.19 seconds.

"Toure will be drafted at some point during Day 3," Pauline added. "I have a seventh-round grade on him, while some teams feel he'll be off the board as early as Round 5."

Daniel Jeremiah has 49ers addressing O-line in latest mock draft

By David Bonilla
Feb 20

The San Francisco 49ers have some weak points along the offensive line. It's tough to dispute that. Three of the team's starters—Jake Brendel, Colton McKivitz, and Aaron Banks—received overall Pro Football Focus grades under 70.0. Clearly, this is an area that could use improvement during the offseason. NFL Media's Daniel Jeremiah proposes just that in his latest mock draft, predicting the 49ers will select offensive lineman Graham Barton out of Duke with the No. 31 overall pick. "A left tackle at Duke, Barton would slide inside to guard and has the athleticism to do all that is required in Kyle Shanahan's

Why Daniel Jeremiah favors Graham Barton for the 49ers' first-round draft pick

By David Bonilla
Feb 22

NFL Media analyst Daniel Jeremiah recently unveiled his updated mock draft, pinpointing the San Francisco 49ers' offensive line as an area for improvement. In his draft scenario, Jeremiah projects the 49ers selecting former Duke left tackle Graham Barton, envisioning a transition to guard in Kyle Shanahan's offensive scheme. However, some have questioned whether Barton warrants a first-round selection. On Thursday, Jeremiah addressed these concerns in a conference call with reporters, defending his choice of Barton within his mock

49ers Mock Draft 1.0: Pre-Combine Edition

By Wayne P. Brown

It's mock draft season, and the San Francisco 49ers have a few areas that must be addressed in the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft. Below are my projections for the team's selections, utilizing Pro Football Focus' mock draft simulator. Round 1, Pick 31 Tyler Guyton - Right Tackle - Oklahoma Although Guyton is raw, he has good footwork and power to dominate in pass protection and run blocking. In 2023, Guyton gave up zero sacks and 12 total pressures. He can play both left and right tackle. Round 2, Pick 63 Christian Haynes - Right Guard- UCONN Haynes is a powerful guard who moves off the ball quickly. He's only allowed 48 pressures in five seasons with the Huskies. Eight of the pressures were sacks. Haynes would
