The San Francisco 49ers hosted Nebraska wide receiver Samori Toure on a pre-draft visit on April 4. According to Tony Pauline of Pro Football Network, that hasn't been the only evidence of the Bay Area team's interest in the young wideout.

Pauline reports that Toure has visited with several NFL teams as organizations continue to do their homework ahead of next week's draft.

"Another team showing a lot of interest in Toure is the San Francisco 49ers," wrote Pauline. "The team ran Toure's pro day drills, met with him extensively, and are very impressed with the Cornhusker receiver."

Toure started his collegiate career at Montana before transferring to Nebraska for the 2021 season. There, he recorded a team-leading 46 catches, 898 receiving yards, and five receiving touchdowns through 12 games and nine starts as a senior.

The 6-foot-3 and 191-pound Toure was not invited to the NFL Scouting Combine. However, he participated in his school's Pro Day, recording a 40-time of 4.44 seconds, a vertical jump of 34.50 inches, a broad jump of 124 inches, and seven reps in the bench press. He also completed the three-cone drill in 6.77 seconds and had a 20-yard shuttle time of 4.19 seconds.

"Toure will be drafted at some point during Day 3," Pauline added. "I have a seventh-round grade on him, while some teams feel he'll be off the board as early as Round 5."
