San Francisco signed Al-Shaair (6-2, 228) as an undrafted free agent out of Florida Atlantic in 2019. He registered a career-high 102 tackles, 10 tackles for a loss, two quarterback hits, two sacks, five passes defensed, an interception, and a forced fumble through 13 starts with the 49ers last season.
Al-Shaair, 24, has recorded 155 tackles, 10 tackles for a loss, three quarterback hits, two sacks, seven passes defensed, two interceptions, and two forced fumbles in 44 game appearances and 22 starts through his three NFL seasons.
