The San Francisco 49ers were among several teams that held a pre-draft meeting with Florida offensive tackle Jean Delance at the East-West Shrine Bowl, per Justin Melo of The Draft Network.

"[H]e put forth an excellent performance all week long while showcasing terrific length and quick feet," Melo wrote via a tweet, noting that Delance had "productive meetings" with the 49ers, Los Angeles Chargers, Carolina Panthers, Dallas Cowboys, and Philadelphia Eagles.

Delance (6-4, 296) started 12 games in 2021 at right tackle as a redshirt senior, helping produce a top-5 rushing offense. He started all 25 games for the Gators in the previous two seasons.

The 49ers are projected to own nine draft picks this year and could look to bolster the depth along the offensive line, especially with an athletic player like Delance.

San Francisco drafted two offensive linemen last year—Aaron Banks out of Notre Dame and Jaylon Moore out of Western Michigan. Moore, a fits-round pick, played 145 offensive snaps in 2021, while Banks, a second-round pick, played just five.

The 2022 NFL Draft begins on Thursday, April 28, at Allegiant Stadium in Nevada.
