The San Francisco 49ers were trailing the Green Bay Packers 24-14 in the fourth quarter when rookie Trey Sermon got the football into the end zone for his first NFL touchdown. Sermon is appearing in his second career NFL game after one snap last week against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The 49ers made Sermon a third-round draft pick out of Ohio State in April.
San Francisco currently trails Green Bay 24-21 with under eight minutes to play.
