Unfortunately, the 49ers lost three players to the waiver wire who the team reportedly hoped to sign to the practice squad. They are wide receiver Nsimba Webster, signed by the Chicago Bears, linebacker Justin Hilliard, signed by the New York Giants, and offensive lineman Dakoda Shepley, signed by the Seattle Seahawks. All three were claimed off of waivers.
