The San Francisco 49ers announced that the team has re-signed offensive lineman Tom Compton to a one-year deal.
Washington made Compton a sixth-round selection out of South Dakota in 2012. The offensive lineman has 106 game appearances through his nine NFL seasons.
Compton, 31, has spent time with Washington (2012-15), the Atlanta Falcons (2016), Chicago Bears (2017), Minnesota Vikings (2018), New York Jets (2019), and 49ers (2020). He has appeared in seven games with three starts with San Francisco.
