Longtime 49erswebzone.com member, 49erJim, reports that season tickets have started to arrive today. 49ers fans who have season tickets should keep an eye out for theirs over the next few days.

The theme this season appears to be "Put your Game Face On" and features the popular Patrick Willis ads that have been seen on 49ers.com.

The San Francisco 49ers fear the worst but are praying for the best when it comes to starting cornerback Jason Verrett. The defender went down late during Sunday's 41-33 victory against the Detroit Lions, and head coach Kyle Shanahan confirmed after the game that the team fears he suffered a torn ACL. That would land Verrett on injured reserve for the sixth time in his eight NFL seasons. The cornerback admitted that he considered retirement after suffering a torn Achilles tendon in 2018 and was glad to get another chance with the 49ers. San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan provided several injury updates during a conference call this afternoon. Among them was confirmation that cornerback Jason Verrett would miss the remainder of the season after suffering a torn ACL on Sunday against the Detroit Lions. A surprising injury update was that running back Raheem Mostert will miss about eight weeks after sustaining some chipped knee cartilage. He exited the game in the first half and was replaced by rookie Elijah Mitchell. The 49ers spent two draft picks on running backs. In addition to Mitchell, a sixth-round pick, the team drafted Trey Sermon out of Ohio State in the third round.



49ers RB Raheem Mostert announces he will undergo season-ending surgery

San Francisco 49ers running back Raheem Mostert was only supposed to miss eight weeks after suffering a knee injury against the Detroit Lions on Sunday. However, he revealed today that he plans to have season-ending surgery instead to repair the damage. "After consulting with multiple doctors and weighing my options, I will be having season-ending surgery to repair my knee," wrote Mostert. "This gives me, without a doubt in my mind, the best possibility at coming back 110%. I have ALWAYS come back stronger and I will this time too! I have faith in myself, my doctors, my support system, my team, and God. He makes no mistakes!!"
