Washinton running back Antonio Gibson's status for Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers is in doubt. NFL insider Ian Rapoport is reporting that the rookie ball-carrier is dealing with a "painful case of turf toe" and could miss the game.

Gibson has a team-leading 659 rushing yards and 11 rushing touchdowns on 141 carries. He also has 32 receptions for 233 receiving yards. Washington made him a third-round draft pick out of Memphis in April.
Both Washington and San Francisco will hold their first full practices of the week later today.
