We now know which day the San Francisco 49ers will play their Week 16 game against the Arizona Cardinals. It has been listed as "to be announced" since the schedule was released in May and left as an option for a Saturday triple-header.
The game will be played at State Farm Stadium, which may be the 49ers' new home field, by the way, on Saturday, December 26, with kickoff scheduled for 1:30 p.m. PT. Unlike the first two games of the day, which will air on NFL Network, the 49ers-Cardinals matchup will stream exclusively on Amazon Prime Video and Twitch.
It will also air on broadcast stations in their local regions.
The 49ers-Cardinals game will be sandwiched between the two other matchups of the triple-header, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Detroit Lions at 10 a.m. PT and Miami Dolphins at Las Vegas Raiders at 5:15 p.m. PT.
