The defensive back has been suspended for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing substances, according to multiple reports. He is eligible to return for Week 14 against Washington.
#49ers K'Waun Williams is suspended two games for PEDs, eligible to return to active roster in Week 14. He's been out injured with a high-ankle sprain and wouldn't have played next two games anyhow

It's highly unlikely Williams would have played anyway during that timeframe. He suffered a high-ankle sprain during the 49ers' Week 9 loss to the Green Bay Packers and is expected to miss significant time.
San Francisco has been trying to decide whether or not to place the cornerback on injured reserve for the second time this season. Doing so would mean he could not return.
