Nick Bosa won't play again this season, but the San Francisco 49ers expect the talented young pass rusher to be terrorizing opposing quarterbacks next year. Bosa, along with another former first-round pick, Solomon Thomas, suffered a season-ending torn ACL during a Week 2 victory over the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium.

Bosa is attacking his rehab after what head coach Kyle Shanahan said was a successful surgery to repair the damage in his knee.

MOTUS Specialists Physical Therapy in Orange County posted the following video of Bosa on the glute-hamstring machine, noting that they are "respecting post-op precautions" while challenging the defensive end during his rehab (h/t to Marcus White of NBC Sports and @TheSFNiners).

Bosa is staying with his brother, Los Angeles Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa, and their parents in Southern California during the early portion of his rehab.

The 49ers selected Bosa out of Ohio State with the No. 2 overall pick in last year's draft. He racked up nine regular-season sacks to go along with his 47 tackles, an interception, and two passes defensed last season on his way to being named the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year.

Bosa had six tackles in just over one game this season before his injury.
