49ers-Rams Injury Report: Jimmy Garoppolo, Emmanuel Moseley ‘full-go’ at practice; Jeff Wilson Jr. has calf injury

The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 6 contest against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

Cornerback Emmanuel Moseley shed the blue no-contact jersey and appears to be out of the concussion protocol. He was a full participant during practice.

Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo (ankle) was a full participant for the second consecutive day. Barring a setback, he is expected to start on Sunday night.

Running back Jeff Wilson Jr. did not appear on Wednesday's injury report but was sidelined on Thursday due to a calf injury. He was seen on a side field getting in some work during the session.


Chris Biderman of the Sacramento Bee also offered the following update on running back Tevin Coleman.

Jeff Garcia has been impressed by San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy in his two seasons with the team. As the last overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, Purdy was thrust into the spotlight after the 49ers faced quarterback injuries and proved his NFL mettle. While some doubts lingered after his rookie season, Purdy's resilience shone through. PFF mock draft has 49ers adding cornerback with 'unique fluidity and size'

Analyst Steve Palazzolo unveiled a first-round mock draft for Pro Football Focus, attempting to forecast the selections for each NFL team within the top 32 picks. While the San Francisco 49ers concentrated on strengthening the defensive line in free agency, Palazzolo envisions the team continuing to fortify that side of the ball.
