49ers-Eagles Injury Report: Jimmy Garoppolo misses another practice, K’Waun Williams returns

The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 4 contest against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo missed another practice, which may indicate that the 49ers plan to start Nick Mullens again. Garoppolo missed this past Sunday's game against the New York Giants after suffering an ankle injury during Week 2.

Tight end George Kittle was a full participant again, indicating that he could be ready to return for Sunday night's game.

The only notable differences from Wednesday's practice were the return of cornerback K'Waun Williams and Ahkello Witherspoon being limited. The latter was a full participant on Wednesday.

For those wondering why Deebo Samuel isn't listed below, it's because the wide receiver isn't on the active roster yet. Therefore, he doesn't need to be included. While Samuel's practice window is open, he will need to be activated to return to the football field.

It's probably worth noting that on the other side, the Eagles were down four wide receivers during their Thursday practice.

Below are Thursday's practice participation reports for both the 49ers and Eagles, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff.

Talking to [head coach] Sean [McVay] on the phone, him just running me through offense and things that he had in mind, it really became appetizing. And I know a lot of the coaches here, so a lot of familiarity in that aspect. And then having played against the Rams a lot in my career, I've seen a lot of good things

Offensive lineman Jon Feliciano and linebacker Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles recently re-signed with the San Francisco 49ers on one-year deals. OverTheCap.com has revealed the contract information for both deals. Feliciano signed a contract that includes the minimum base salary for a player with eight accrued seasons of experience—$1.21 million. Flannigan-Fowles' base salary is slightly higher, at about $1.77 million. Feliciano is scheduled to count about $2.28 million against the 2024 salary cap, while Flannigan-Fowles is slated to consume almost $1.3 million.
