Obviously, the NFL wants to make it clear that coaches and staff need to be wearing face coverings on sidelines during games to protect themselves and others from COVID-19. The league has fined several head coaches, including Kyle Shanahan of the San Francisco 49ers, $100,000 each for not wearing face coverings on Sunday, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
The NFL also fined each of their teams an additional $250,000.
The other coaches who were fined are Pete Carroll of the Seattle Seahawks and Vic Fangio of the Denver Broncos.
NFL fined three head coaches - - Denver's Vic Fangio, Seattle's Pete Carroll and SF's Kyle Shanahan - $100,000 each for not wearing masks Sunday, and each of their teams another $250,000, sources told ESPN.
So that's $1.05 million dollars in fines for not wearing masks.

Shanahan and his 49ers visited MetLife Stadium on Sunday to play the New York Jets, a game they won 31-13. San Francisco will return to MetLife Stadium this weekend to play the New York Giants.
