The San Francisco 49ers won't be required to issue an official practice participation report until next Wednesday. Until then, who takes part in practices has to be based on what local reporters see on the field during the first part of each session. The media must leave before team drills begin.
General manager John Lynch revealed on Thursday morning that Verrett suffered a hamstring injury during Wednesday's practice. The 49ers are awaiting word on the severity of the injury.
Greenlaw returned after spending time in the concussion protocol. He practiced in a blue no-contact jersey.
