TMZ Sports has posted a video, which they claim shows San Francisco 49ers offensive tackle
Trent Williams in the driver's seat of a Ferrari speeding at 125 mph (h/t to
Alex Didion of NBC Sports Bay Area).
The video reportedly originated from Williams' Instagram account and has since been deleted.
TMZ Sports also notes the following Instagram post of Williams sitting on what appears to be a 2019 Ferrari 488 Pista while writing that "the IG story video looks like the same car."
The 49ers traded for Williams in April, sending a fifth-round draft pick in 2020 and a third-round pick in 2021 to Washington in exchange for the seven-time Pro Bowler.
TMZ Sports wrote that they reached out to Williams for comment but have not heard back from the offensive lineman.
"It's unclear where the video took place, but given Williams reported to 49ers training camp earlier this month, it likely is on a Bay Area freeway," notes
NBC Sports Bay Area writer Alex Didion.

Could the 49ers trade up in the draft for a top tackle?
The San Francisco 49ers are likely hoping that a top offensive lineman drops to them at No. 31 in the first round of this month's draft. Fans would like to see the team add someone to compete with Colton McKivitz for the right tackle spot and potentially take over for Trent Williams when the future Hall of Famer decides to retire.
Having two studs bookending the offensive line would go a long way in protecting franchise quarterback Brock Purdy. While tackle may be the first-round target, depending on how the first 30 selections play out, San Francisco might have to trade up to get a genuinely impactful
